1996Michael Barkman was promoted to partner at Ernst & Young, L.L.P., in New York City. Scott Breiner was promoted to research director of Automotive and Transportation Research at Harris Interactive in Rochester, N.Y. Gwendolyn Van Gieson Falbo is a manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Rochester, N.Y. Corinne Goerlich teaches fourth grade in the Millbrook (N.Y.) Central School District. Charles Leo is the owner and president of LunarStudio, a firm specializing in architectural renderings and illustration, in Medford, Mass. Laurie Quinn Murty earned a master’s degree in advanced teaching from SUNY Geneseo in 2003. She is a teacher with the Rochester (N.Y.) City School District. Andrea Joy Rizzo O’Gorman is the dean of students at Scarsdale (N.Y.) High School. Meredith Rhodes Carson is a geologist with BP in Houston, Texas. Danielle Sicari is an associate attorney with Rossi & Crowley, L.L.P, in Douglaston, N.Y. Richard Telesco is a neonatologist with Elliot Health Systems in New Hampshire. Janine Velotti was named assistant principal of Plaza Elementary School in Baldwin, N.Y. Paul Zawadecki is the divisional controller of Sealand Contractors Corp. in Charlotte, N.C. He is currently assisting them with expansion plans in Florida. Julie Lusk Zemojtel earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University in May 2004. She is a teacher with the Lake Havasu (Ariz.) School District.

1997Amy Brenner Alexander earned a doctorate in physical therapy from Regis University in May 2006. Jess Alexander earned master’s degrees in landscape architecture, and urban and regional planning from the University of Colorado at Denver in May 2005. Tiffani Kaminski Bauder earned an M.S. in cellular and molecular biology from the University of New Haven in January 2006. Heather Gray teaches first and second grade at Leary Elementary School in Rush, N.Y. Diane Schook Mital is a speech-language pathologist for the Fairfax (Vt.) School. Lisa Decker Schneider is director of social work for Jamaica Hospital in Queens, N.Y. Erin Swider was promoted to senior manager at Helin, Donovan, Trubee & Wilkinson, L.L.P., in Austin, Texas. Daniel Wilson is a teacher with Brighton (N.Y.) Central Schools.

1998Jennifer Shaffer Gillet earned an M.S.Ed. in literacy education from Queens College in May 2004. She is the office manager for Brant Lake (N.Y.) Camp. Brent Horton has joined Hiscock & Barclay, LLP, as a member of a law team formerly of Hancock & Estabrook, LLP, of Syracuse, N.Y. Horton focuses primarily on general business and corporate matters, including business formation, mergers and acquisitions, and contracting. Jason John was promoted to marketing manager with J.Crew in New York City. Laura Konigsberg earned an M.B.A. in finance from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University in May 2006. She is an account manager with RPM Group, Inc., in New York City.

1999Courtney Adams earned an M.S. in adolescent education and mathematics from St. John’s University in Feb. 2006. Heidi Ernst-Fuller is a senior internal auditor for Wegmans Food Markets in Rochester, N.Y. Eric Goulet is an attorney on the Committee on Finance and Revenue for the (Washington) D.C. Council.

2000Ian Crosby earned an M.S.W. from the University at Buffalo in September 2005. Michael Gorczynski earned a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Virginia in August 2005. He is a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Chemistry at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C. John Nicholson passed the Uniform CPA Examination. He is a senior accountant at the EFP Group of Rochester and Canandaigua, N.Y. David Pace earned an M.S. in clinical psychology from the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University in September 2003. Julia Novelli Pericak was named “Rookie of the Year 2005” for Berlex Laboratories, where she is employed as a sales consultant in Tampa, Fla. Tracy Potter Ryan earned a master’s degree in science education from Lehman College in 2004. She teaches physics in the Nyack (N.Y.) School District. Margaret Moslow Scherer teaches fourth grade for the Cleveland Hill (N.Y.) U.F.S.D. Sarah Szurek earned an M.A. in anthropology from the University of Alabama in 2004. Jaclyn Cascino Terranova earned an M.S.Ed. from Molloy College in 2003. She is a teacher with Massapequa (N.Y.) Public Schools. Charleen Tuchovsky earned a Ph.D. in sociology from Syracuse University in 2006. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Arizona in Tucson.

2001Tara Cronk earned an M.A. in counseling and guidance/school counseling from New York University in May 2006. Bethany Gilbert was recently accepted as a member of the United Way of Buffalo (N.Y.) & Erie County’s Board Governance Project. The goal of the project is to increase the participation of women on nonprofit boards and in other positions of community leadership. Gilbert was also recently admitted to the New York State Bar and is an attorney with Hodgson Russ L.L.P.’s Corporate and Securities and Health Law Practice Groups. Michael Pastrick earned a J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 2004. He is an assistant appellate court attorney with the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division, 4th Department, in Rochester, N.Y. William Querbes and Jeffrey Reingold have each received a 2006 Joukowsky Dissertation Prize, for their work in pathobiology and chemistry, respectively. This annual award at Brown University recognizes superior achievements in research by students who are working toward their Ph.D.s. at Brown. Michael Rabideau earned an M.B.A. in finance from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2005. He is a branch manager for HSBC Bank USA in Rochester, N.Y. Amy Rivenburgh DeCiantis earned an M.A. in the teaching of social studies from the Teachers College at Columbia University in August 2005.

2002Danielle Bender earned an M.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in May 2006. Jessica Exelbert earned a master’s degree in arts management from Carnegie Mellon University in 2004. She is director of research and development at The Glaucoma Foundation in New York City. Sarah Hickey earned a master’s degree in special education from the University of Northern Colorado in May 2006. She is a teacher with the Rochester (N.Y.) City School District. Anne Joynt earned a J.D. from the University at Buffalo in May 2005. She is an associate with Lipsitz and Ponterio, L.L.C., in Buffalo, N.Y. Lora Kishel is a second-grade teacher in the Arlington (N.Y.) Central School District. Lynn Szczesny earned a master’s degree in literacy from the University at Buffalo in September 2005. She teaches third-grade special education at Springville (N.Y.) Elementary School.

Laura Eveleigh earned an M.A. in education from Nazareth College in December 2004. She is a special education and social studies teacher for the Victor (N.Y.) Central School District. Kristie Font has passed the Uniform CPA Examination. She is a senior accountant at the EFP Group of Rochester and Canandaigua, N.Y. Jill Klemann earned a J.D. from the Papitto School of Law at Roger Williams University in May 2006. Lisa Kolakowski earned a master’s degree in library science from the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University in 2005. She is a library media specialist with the Greece Central School District in Rochester, N.Y. Noelle Lamb earned an M.A. in speech pathology from the University at Buffalo in 2005. Janelle Mills is a benefits analyst with the New York City Transit System. Kari Plandowski is a second-grade bilingual education teacher at School No. 33 in the Rochester (N.Y.) City School District. Andrea Rennie earned an M.S. in childhood education from Syracuse University’s School of Education in August 2005. She is a second-grade English for speakers of other languages teacher at Public School 94 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Michele Salamy earned an M.S. in mathematics education from Syracuse University in May 2005. She is a learning center specialist at Herkimer County (N.Y.) Community College. Nicole Schuster earned certified public accountant certification from New York State. She is a senior accountant with Brock, Schechter & Polakoff, L.L.P., in Buffalo, N.Y. Deanna Trella earned an M.A. in sociology and social psychology from Bowling Green State University in December 2005.
