Mitchell Robinson received the Defense Meritorious Service Medal for his service as executive officer and acting commanding officer of the U.S. Forces Japan Naval Reserve Unit. He is a contracting officer at the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair, U.S. Navy in Groton, Conn. Thomas “Biff” Shanahan was recognized recently in the Dec. 27, 2004, issue of the Washington Post and the Jan. 3, 2005, issue of the Albany Times Union for his pro-bono lobbying work on behalf of the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind. Robert Spoor completed a summer course in Classic British Cinema at Oxford University in England. Joe Storey is the associate director of the library at St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
